SETTINGS UPDATE!
Effective Immediately, FFE has moved to a stronger transponder on Galaxy 23. If you are currenly getting FFE, you will not have to re-point your dish, just make the below changes to your receiver.
The new satellite is Galaxy 23, a national cable satellite with over 98% saturation to US cable stations, and the transmission is un-encrypted and free to receive with whatever C-Band equipment you are already using in house..
Please change your current feed settings to the below information:
C-Band:
Satellite: Galaxy 23
Position: 121º W
Transponder: 1
Program #: 1
Video PID: 0784
Audio PID: 0785
PCR: 0784
D/L Frequency: 3722MHz
Polarity: H
S/R: 1.591495
FEC 3/4
DIRECTIONS FOR RECEIVING THE SIGNAL WITH AN:
SA PowerVu Model D9850 Program Receiver
After entering all of the above settings:
from Main Menu arrow over to Set Up, press Select
then arrow over to More, press Select
then arrow over to PSI, press Select
then 1st screen says Current Tune Mode, this needs to say Custom
then press Arrow Down 1 time to Service List Mode this needs to be Allow Deg'd Install
Then the 4 settings to the right should read as follows:
BAT = N
NIT = N
SDT = N
PAT = Y
Then they should press menu and follow directions on the screen.
Make sure to put ASI on Passing with Service Channel Descrambled
